Campaign Financing Rules
You may contribute up to $5,000 total across all candidates and third-party advertisers in a municipality during the election period.
You must be an individual resident of Alberta. Corporate and union donations are not permitted.
Proactive Disclosure of Campaign Contributions
The Local Authorities Election Act requires campaign contribution disclosures after campaigns have finished.
I believe transparency is an important part of accountability and, just as in 2021, I will take it one step further with proactive disclosures of my campaign contributions before election day.
