Campaign Financing Rules
Individuals, corporations, and unions based in Alberta may contribute up to $5,000 total across all candidates and third-party advertisers in a municipality during the election period.
Proactive Disclosure of Campaign Contributions
The Local Authorities Election Act now requires campaign contribution disclosures before election day.
I believe transparency is an important part of accountability and I welcome this change in legislation. I continue to commit to proactive disclosures of my campaign contributions.
